Steps:
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic, basil, and butter together. Then spread this on one side of each slice of the soft Italian bread. Next spread 1/2 tablespoon of the finely grated Parmesan on buttered side of each slice of bread, lightly pressing it into the butter.
- Bring a pot of salt water to a bowl, add the angel hair pasta, and cook until al dente, and drain.
- Stir the cooked angel hair into 1/2 cup of the bolognese sauce.
- Lay a piece of the buttered garlic bread down, buttered side facing down. Top with 3 slices of the fresh mozzarella, arranging it so it covers the bread. Spread the bolognese covered angel hair over the mozzarella, and top with another layer of mozzarella. Add the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing up.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add the sandwich and cover the skillet. There is no need to grease the pan. The key here is to go low and slow with heat, and not to move the sandwich. After 5-6 minutes the first side of the sandwich should be golden brown, carefully flip the sandwich, and cover the pan again. Toast the second side of the sandwich and serve immediately.

MURRAY'S FRIED SPAGHETTI
A great use of leftovers, and one of Bird's Dad's best recipes for a budget. Amounts are rough estimates, as it just depends on how much 'leftover' stuff you have available. Salt and black pepper are the only spices needed for this dish, although peppery makes a nice kick to it.

MURRAY'S SPAGHETTI SANDWICHES
This is an awesome way to eat spaghetti, for kids and adults. I've eaten these since I was a kid and still love them! No buttered Italian bread on the side for me thanks, I'll have my spaghetti Murray style! Buttering the bread really gives this recipe it's pizzaz! This recipe is just a simple guide for pasta and sauce but any recipe would work. It's great for leftover spaghetti too. Just warm the spaghetti in the microwave, and make the sandwiches. YUM! Oh, BTW, Murray is Bird's dad who is famous for his budget meals ;)

Steps:
- For the Sauce: Saute garlic and red pepper flakes in the olive oil at low heat until the garlic is translucent. Add tomatoes, red wine and sugar. Let simmer at low heat.
- For the Meatballs: Mix all ingredients very well in a stainless bowl. Hand roll meatballs into 1-ounce balls and place directly into the hot tomato sauce. Let sauce and meatballs simmer for 2 hours. Remove meatballs from the sauce and reserve on the side.
- For assembly: In a small saucepan, combine butter, garlic powder, chopped garlic and salt and pepper. Heat until butter is melted. Slice Italian bread lengthwise and remove any excess dough. Brush butter mixture evenly all over both sides of Italian bread. Alternate layers of spaghetti, sauce and meatballs throughout the bread. Top with basil leaves and Parmesan and close the sandwich. Grill the sandwich for 3 minutes on each side on either a griddle or a panini press. Slice the sandwich into whatever size portion you like.
