Tips:
- Choose high-quality ingredients: Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the salsa and flavorful basil for the mayonnaise. Opt for good-quality mozzarella cheese and ground beef for the burgers.
- Make the salsa ahead of time: This allows the flavors to meld and develop. If you're short on time, you can use store-bought salsa, but be sure to choose a brand that uses fresh ingredients.
- Don't overcook the burgers: Cook them over medium heat until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium-rare or 165°F (74°C) for medium.
- Toast the buns: This gives them a nice, crispy texture that complements the juicy burgers.
- Be generous with the toppings: Load up your burgers with cheese, salsa, mayonnaise, and your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and onion.

These mozzarella cheeseburgers with basil mayonnaise and tomato salsa are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout or a casual weeknight dinner.
