Tips:
- Choose the right chicken: Use a whole chicken or chicken breasts for this recipe. Bone-in, skin-on chicken will give you the most flavor.
- Season the chicken well: Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to season the chicken. You can also add other herbs and spices to taste.
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) before baking the chicken. This will help the chicken cook evenly.
- Bake the chicken until it is cooked through: The chicken is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.
- Let the chicken rest before carving: Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.
Conclusion:
Baked chicken is a simple and delicious dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a healthy and affordable meal that can be served with a variety of sides. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily make a delicious baked chicken that will impress your family and friends.
