2 cups white sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
5 ½ cups flaked coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
1 (16 ounce) package prepared milk chocolate frosting

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove saucepan from heat and stir white sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the melted butter until thoroughly combined.
  • Mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl; add butter mixture to the flour mixture and stir to form a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely.

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6-ounce) can cream of coconut
1 (9-ounce) tub Cool Whip
1 (8-ounce) package frozen coconut flakes, thawed

Steps:

  • Bake cake using package directions in a 9×13-inch pan. Remove cake from oven. While still hot use a fork to poke holes in top of cake. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cream of coconut. Pour mixture over cake, spreading evenly so it will soak into holes. Cool completely. Top with Cool Whip and then coconut flakes. Chill overnight

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, room temperature (2 sticks)
5 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 unsweetened chocolate squares, melted and cooled (3 ounces)
1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 (14 ounce) frozen coconut
24 large marshmallows
1/2 cup butter
2 unsweetened chocolate squares (2 ounces)
16 large marshmallows
1 (16 ounce) box confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
milk

Steps:

  • For the Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degees. Grease and flour three 9" cake pans. (Or see recipe #452719.).
  • Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until very light and fluffy (this could take 5-7 minutes). Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to beat well after each addition and scraping sides of bowl. Blend in vanilla and chocolate.
  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add 1/4 of dry ingredients to creamed mixture then approximately 1/4 of buttermilk alternating remaining ingredients just until mixed. Pour batter into prepared cake pans; batter will be thick.
  • Bake in preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until pick in center comes otu clean. Cool. (Mine took 27 minutes.).
  • For the filling: In a saucepan cook milk, sugar and marshmallows until melted. Add coconut; spread between layers.
  • For the Chocolate Topping: Melt together the butter, chocolate and marshmallows. Beat in confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Add enough milk to spread. Spread over cake.

24 regular marsmallows not mini and not the giant ones
1 c milk
1 14 ounce bag coconut
1/2 c margarine
1 c sugar
1/2 c milk
11/2 c semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1. MIX CAKE ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS ON BOX POUR INTO 13X9 GREASED AND FLOURED PAN BAKE ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS
  • 2. WHILE IT'S BAKING PLACE 1 CUP SUGAR 24 MARSHMALLOWS 1 BAG COCONUT AND 1 CUP SUGAR IN SAUCE PAN COOK LOW HEAT UNTIL MARSHMALLOWS ARE MELTED STIRRING CONSTANTLY. POUR OVER HOT CAKE WHEN YOU TAKE OUT OF THE OVEN

1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix
eggs
vegetable oil
water
(follow amounts on your particular brand of cake mix)
1 can Coconut Frosting
3/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
8 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
small bag of shredded coconut

  • Fllow directions on cake mix for two round cake pans. Cool cakes completely and spread coconut frosting thickly on one layer and put the other on top. Put the chocolate chips in a mixing bowl. Put cream in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, while stirring. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and stir until the chocolate is melted. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes. While glaze is still slightly warm, pour over cake. If necessary, reheat glaze in microwave and pour over a second layer. It should be a shiny hard layer, just like the candy bar. Sprinkle a little fresh coconut on the top - to decorate.

2 dark chocolate bars,chopped
1 3/4 c chilled coconut milk,divided
3/4 c hot fudge sauce
1 can(s) sweet condensed milk
4 tsp coconut extract,divided
1 tube(s) frozen whipped topping,thawed
1 pkg cream cheese,softened
3/4 c coconut greek yogurt

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • 2. In a large bowl,combine cake mix,water,oil egg whites,chopped dark chocolate,3/4 cup coconut milk and hot fudge sauce,beat together with a electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds.Beat again on medium speed for 3 minutes,scraping bowl occasionally.Pour the batter into the baking pan.
  • 3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Cool for 10 minutes.
  • 4. In a small bowl,combine sweet condensed milk,2 teaspoons coconut extract and 1/2 cup coconut milk,whisk together until blended.
