8 frozen waffles
4 slices deli turkey
4 slices deli ham

1 large egg
1/4 cup 2% milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
4 slices white bread
2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
4 slices process American cheese (2/3 ounce each)
2 thin slices deli turkey (1/2 ounce each)
2 slices Swiss cheese (3/4 ounce each)
2 thin slices deli ham (1/2 ounce each)
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam

I saw this recipe on the Rachael Ray Show and thought it was so great and wanted to add it to my other waffle sandwiches and pancakes. I tweaked it a little. Great Recipe- my family loved it- we had a side salad with it like she suggested. ENJOY! NOTE: Just think of all the othesandwichhe combinations to put into the waffle...

4 large eggs
1/2 c cream or milk
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 Tbsp butter, melted
8 slice white or brioche bread
1 c shredded gruyère cheese
1/4 lb deli-sliced ham
1/4 lb deli-sliced turkey

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat your waffle iron to medium heat. In a shallow bowl, whisk together, eggs,cream, mustard,salt, pepper, cinnamon and sugar.
  • 2. Brush waffle maker with melted butter. Build sandwiches; One slice of bread, some cheese, a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, more cheese and another piece of bread.
