MONSTER BREAKFAST COOKIES
These are a perfect treat when on the go, or first thing in the morning before a run/walk, or in the middle of the night while nursing a hungry infant! Walnuts are a great add (try 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup walnuts), but they do make the cookies a bite drier. You can use white flour or a mixture of white and whole-wheat.

PAULA DEEN'S MONSTER COOKIES
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or nonstick baking mats. 1. Beat the eggs and sugars 2. Beat in Add the salt, vanilla, peanut butter, and butter. 3. Beat in baking soda, and oatmeal 4. Put in fridge for 30 min (unsure if this is needed, but some people said the dough was too sticky, I did this and it was perfect, also try upping the oatmeal) 5. Divide dough if you plan to make different kinds of cookies. 6. Mix in candy. It is possible to over do this step but if you its ok see below. 7. Drop cookies on pan, and try and get them to stick together as much as possible. You can do balls larger than a tablespoon and they come out great. Flatten cookies a little. Then with the excess candy, insert into the dough on top so the cookies are candy coated as well. Note: This cookies do not spread that that much, so even space is not a huge issue. 8. Bake for 9 minutes. Be sure they come out still a little doughy looking! Let stand for a few minutes then transfer to wire racks. 9. If using the next day, store unrefrigerated (so they stay softer) in an air tight container.

Steps:
- In very large bowl, use mixer to combine first seven ingredients--eggs through peanut butter.
- Add oatmeal, candy, and chocolate chips and mix thoroughly by hand.
- If dough is too sticky, either refrigerate or add another 1/2 to 1 cup oatmeal.
- Scoop ice cream size balls of dough onto cookie sheets, with plenty of space in between.
- Bake at 350° for 13-15 minutes. If using two racks, switch top to bottom and bottom to top about halfway through.
Tips:
- Prep Everything First: Before you start mixing ingredients for monster cookies, make sure you prep the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. This way, you can mix them together more easily and quickly.
- Use Quality Chocolate Chips: The chocolate chips are one of the most important ingredients in monster cookies, so make sure you use high-quality chips. Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips work best.
- Don't Overmix the Dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are well combined.
- Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much.
- Bake the Cookies at the Right Temperature: Bake the cookies at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Let the Cookies Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Conclusion:
Monster Cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy these chewy, gooey cookies that are packed with flavor. So, next time you're looking for a sweet snack, give this recipe a try.
