1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg, room temperature
1 medium ripe banana, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Confectioners' sugar, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and peanut butter until blended. Gradually beat in egg, banana and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well., Spread into an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. 3 tablespoons low-fat buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup butter
½ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
⅓ cup peanut butter
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking soda

1 cup rolled oats
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup confectioners' sugar
¼ cup peanut butter
3 ½ tablespoons milk

Steps:

2 stick butter, melted
11 oz whole grain peanut butter cheerios
1/4 tsp salt
2 large bananas, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c cashew pieces, finely chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. (325 if using a convection oven)
  • 2. Place the cereal into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until it turns to crumbs. Pour melted butter over the crumbs and pulse to combine.
  • 3. Reserve approximately 1/2 cup of crumbs and press the remaining crumbs into the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake the crust for 8 minutes and remove from oven. Let cool slightly (about 5 minutes).
  • 4. Meanwhile, melt all but 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk together in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
