The beaten egg whites give it a delicate texture and make this custard pie quite unique! It's a great way to finish off any meal. -Jeannie Fritson, Kearney, Nebraska

Tips:
- Use fresh lemons. Freshly squeezed lemon juice will give your pie the best flavor.
- Don't overbeat the egg whites. Overbeaten egg whites will make your pie tough. Beat them until they are stiff but not dry.
- Bake the pie until the filling is set. The center of the pie should be slightly jiggly when you shake the pan.
- Let the pie cool before serving. This will give the filling time to set and the flavors to develop.
- Serve the pie with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This will add a delicious finishing touch to your pie.
