Tips:

  • Use molasses that is not bitter. Dark molasses can easily overpower the other flavors in the cookies; try using a lighter molasses like mild molasses or blackstrap molasses.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • To make the cookies chewier, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
  • For a crispier cookie, bake them for a few minutes longer.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Don't skimp on the white chocolate chips. They add a delicious sweetness and creaminess to the cookies.

Conclusion:

These molasses oatmeal white chocolate chip cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are chewy, soft, and packed with flavor. The molasses gives the cookies a slightly sweet and tangy flavor, while the oatmeal and white chocolate chips add a delightful texture and sweetness.
