2 pounds mixed ground beef, veal and pork

1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup horseradish

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, covering the "claws" with foil after 40 minutes so that they don't dry out.

KOWLOON'S LOBSTER SAUCE (FROM KOWLOON'S OF NEW ENGLAND MA)

Kowloon's Lobster Sauce (From Kowloon's of New England Ma) image

I love lobster sauce and this was published in the Boston Herald as an answer to a request. by the way, it has no lobster in it in case you never had it before! I'm revising the quantities because I think they made a mistake on the amount of water. I used more black bean sauce and garlic, subbed the molasses with sugar because I didn't have any molasses and left out the egg. I like my way better!

Tips:

  • Use the right mushrooms. Cremini mushrooms are the go-to mushroom for a mock lobster sauce, as they have a meaty texture that closely resembles lobster.
  • Don't overcook the mushrooms. Overcooked mushrooms will become tough and chewy, so be sure to cook them just until they are softened.
  • Use a good quality white wine. A dry white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, will add a subtle flavor to the sauce.
  • Don't be afraid to add a little spice. A pinch of cayenne pepper or paprika can add a bit of heat to the sauce, which can help to balance out the sweetness of the tomatoes.
  • Serve the sauce over your favorite pasta. Mock lobster sauce is a great way to add a touch of luxury to a simple pasta dish.

Conclusion:

Mock lobster sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used to add a touch of luxury to a variety of dishes. It is a great way to enjoy the flavor of lobster without the high price tag. With a little planning and effort, you can easily make a mock lobster sauce that is just as good as the real thing.
