Steps:
- Warm 2 cups of milk and stir in sugar, coffee and cocoa until desolved.
- Combine remaining ingredients.
- Freeze until slushy (approx. 5 hours).
Tips:
- To prepare coffee ice cubes, simply brew a pot of coffee and pour it into ice cube trays. Freeze until solid, then store in a freezer bag for up to 2 weeks.
- If you don't have coffee ice cubes, you can use regular ice cubes and add 1/4 cup of cold coffee to the blender.
- You can use any type of chocolate syrup you like. If you want a richer flavor, use a dark chocolate syrup.
- If you don't have chocolate syrup, you can melt 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stovetop.
- You can also add other flavorings to your mocha freeze, such as vanilla extract, almond extract, or cinnamon.
- To make a non-dairy mocha freeze, use almond milk or soy milk instead of regular milk.
- For a vegan mocha freeze, use a plant-based protein powder and omit the honey.
