Tips:
- Use fresh lime juice: Fresh lime juice adds a bright and tangy flavor to the Mai Tai. Do not use bottled lime juice, as it will not taste as good and can make the drink too sour.
- Use a good quality rum: The rum is the base of the Mai Tai, so it is important to use a good quality rum. Look for a light or gold rum that is smooth and has a good flavor.
- Use orgeat syrup: Orgeat syrup is a sweet almond-flavored syrup that adds a unique flavor to the Mai Tai. You can make your own orgeat syrup or buy it from a store.
- Use fresh mint leaves: Fresh mint leaves add a refreshing flavor to the Mai Tai. Do not use dried mint leaves, as they will not taste as good.
- Serve the Mai Tai in a chilled glass: A chilled glass will help to keep the Mai Tai cold and refreshing.
