Tips:

  • Choose the right ground meat: A combination of ground beef and ground pork works well for these mini meat loaves, as the pork adds moisture and flavor. You can also use all ground beef, but it may be a bit drier.
  • Use fresh bread crumbs: Fresh bread crumbs will help to bind the meatloaf together and give it a lighter texture. You can make your own bread crumbs by tearing or crumbling stale bread into small pieces.
  • Don't overmix the meatloaf mixture: Overmixing the meatloaf mixture can make it tough. Just mix the ingredients until they are combined.
  • Shape the meatloaf mixture into small loaves: Use a 1/4-cup measuring cup to scoop out the meatloaf mixture and then shape it into small loaves. You can also use a muffin tin to shape the meat loaves.
  • Bake the meat loaves at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy crust on the outside of the meat loaves. After 15 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F and continue to bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
  • Let the meat loaves rest before serving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat loaves and make them more tender.

Conclusion:

These mini cheese meat loaves are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. They are also a great option for parties and potlucks. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your mini cheese meat loaves turn out perfectly every time.
