Tips:

  • Use a sharp knife to slice the apples thinly and evenly. This will help them cook evenly in the oven.
  • Be sure to dust your work surface with flour before rolling out the puff pastry. This will prevent the pastry from sticking.
  • If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use a wine bottle or a glass to roll out the pastry.
  • Be careful not to overfill the turnovers. Too much filling will make them difficult to seal and they may burst open in the oven.
  • Brush the turnovers with milk before baking. This will help them brown evenly.
  • Serve the turnovers warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

These mini apple turnovers are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With a flaky puff pastry crust and a sweet and tangy apple filling, these turnovers are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dessert, give these mini apple turnovers a try!
