Tips:

  • Use fresh popcorn kernels for the best results. Old or stale kernels will not pop as well.
  • To make sure the popcorn pops evenly, spread the kernels out in a single layer in the microwave-safe bowl.
  • Do not overcook the popcorn. If the popcorn starts to burn, stop the microwave immediately.
  • Add the caramel and peanut mixture to the popcorn while it is still hot. This will help the caramel to adhere to the popcorn.
  • If you want a sweeter popcorn, add more caramel sauce.
  • If you want a crunchier popcorn, add more peanuts.
  • For a fun twist, try adding other toppings to your popcorn, such as chocolate chips, sprinkles, or marshmallows.
