No fresh cherries, no extra needed - simple dough for a covered cherry mixture that bakes up in 40 minutes and is not only holiday friendly but a family favorite dessert recipe. Quite like a dump cake recipe, this cobbler recipe is even easier with canned filling and buttery flour. FRESH CHERRY COBBLER

Fresh Cherry Cobbler image

This is a delicious cherry cobbler made with fresh cherries instead of canned. It may take a little longer to make because you need to pit the cherries, but it is well worth it when you taste the finished product.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe cherries for the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cherries, you can use frozen or canned cherries, but fresh cherries will give you the best results.
  • If you don't have a cherry pitter, you can use a paring knife to remove the pits. Just be careful not to cut yourself.
  • Make sure to grease the baking dish before adding the cobbler mixture. This will help prevent the cobbler from sticking to the pan.
  • If you want a crispy crust, sprinkle some sugar on top of the cobbler before baking.
  • Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Michigan cherry cobbler is a classic American dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. So next time you're looking for a delicious and satisfying dessert, give Michigan cherry cobbler a try.
