Number Of Ingredients 6

1-2 lbs ground beef
1 pkt taco seasoning
2 cans Fiesta Nacho Cheese soup
1 1/2 bags tater tots
1 bag frozen corn
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning as directed on packet. Stir soups and cooked corn into meat mixture. Line bottom of ungreased baking dish with tater tots. Spread meat mixture over top of tater tots. Top with another layer of tater tots. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Top with shredded cheese and continue baking for additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.

Tips:

  • Use frozen tater tots. Fresh or thawed tater tots will not hold their shape as well in the casserole.
  • Season the ground beef well. This is the main source of flavor in the casserole, so don't skimp on the seasonings.
  • Use a variety of cheeses. This will give the casserole a more complex flavor and texture.
  • Bake the casserole until the cheese is melted and bubbly. This will ensure that the casserole is cooked through and the cheese is melted evenly.
  • Serve the casserole hot. This is when it will be at its best.

Conclusion:

Mexican tater tot casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover ground beef and tater tots. This casserole is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
