MEXICAN TACO PINWHEELS

Mexican Taco Pinwheels image

I had these at a party today and I couldn't quit eating them. I'm not a big fan of black olives or chilies but these were incredible. Very popular with everyone. Cook time is refrigeration time. (In response to reviews, I use Old El Paso taco mix and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix and have never had any complaints about the saltiness. HTH!)

  • 8. Right before serving, slice into 'pinwheels'.

Tips:

  • Prep before rolling: Before you start rolling the pinwheels, make sure all your ingredients are prepped and measured out. This will make the process go smoothly and prevent any scrambling.
  • Use a sharp knife for clean cuts: A sharp knife will give you clean, even cuts when slicing the pinwheels. This will make them look more professional and appetizing.
  • Don't overfill the pinwheels: When filling the pinwheels, be sure not to overfill them. Too much filling will make them difficult to roll and may cause them to burst open.
  • Chill before slicing: After rolling the pinwheels, chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing. This will help them hold their shape and make them easier to slice.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce: Mexican pinwheels can be served with a variety of dipping sauces, such as guacamole, salsa, or sour cream. Choose a sauce that complements the flavors of the pinwheels.

Conclusion:

Mexican pinwheels are a delicious and versatile appetizer or snack that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized with a variety of fillings and toppings. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy snack or a festive appetizer for a party, Mexican pinwheels are sure to please.
