Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality Mexican coffee. A dark roast will give you a more intense flavor, while a medium roast will be more mellow.
  • If you don't have a blender, you can make this recipe in a food processor or with an immersion blender. Just be sure to blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • To make the chillata ahead of time, simply prepare the coffee mixture and chill it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you're ready to serve, just add the ice, milk, and sugar.
  • If you like your chillata extra cold, you can freeze the coffee mixture in an ice cube tray. Then, when you're ready to serve, just add the ice cubes to a blender with the milk and sugar.
  • Garnish your chillata with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a cinnamon stick for a special touch.

Conclusion:

The Mexican coffee chillata is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a cool and creamy treat, give the Mexican coffee chillata a try!
