1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
3/4 cup water
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 tube (16.3 ounces) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, salsa, sliced ripe olives, sour cream and thinly sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Line a 6-qt. slow cooker with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Coat with cooking spray., In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in soup, water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened, 3-5 minutes., Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces; gently stir into beef mixture. Transfer to slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low until dough is cooked through, 3-4 hours. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook, covered, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes longer. Serve with toppings of your choice.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package old el paso taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (12 ounce) can Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Brown ground beef in large skillet or pan over medium heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Add Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix, water, and tomato soup, and mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Separate dough from biscuits into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. Add to ground beef mixture. Stir gently.

1 (17 1/3 ounce) can pillsbury grands refrigerated corn biscuits or 1 (16 1/3 ounce) can Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups lettuce, shredded
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup old el paso thick 'n chunky salsa
1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
3 green onions, sliced, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F
