Very good

Provided by Joanne Sarver

Categories     Steaks and Chops

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pkg taco seasoning
4 boneless pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
1 Tbsp cooking oil
salsa

Steps:

  • 1. Rub taco seasoning over pork chops. In a skillet cook chops in oil over medium high heat until meat is no longer pink about 10 minutes. Serve with salsa. Makes 4 servings.

Tips:

  • To achieve the best flavor, use bone-in pork chops. If you don't have bone-in chops, you can substitute boneless chops, but the cooking time may vary.
  • Make sure the pork chops are at room temperature before cooking. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the pork chops. If you do, they will not brown properly.
  • Cook the pork chops over medium heat. This will help to prevent them from drying out.
  • Don't overcook the pork chops. Overcooked pork chops are tough and dry. The internal temperature of the pork chops should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit when they are done.
  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

Conclusion:

Mexicali pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make dish. They are perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a special occasion dinner. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying dish that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you're looking for a new pork chop recipe, give Mexicali pork chops a try. You won't be disappointed!
