HOW TO MAKE THE BEST MIMOSA

How to Make the Best Mimosa image

Mimosas are perfect for brunch, birthdays, holidays, and weddings. For the best mimosa, use a dry sparkling wine, not sweet. We usually will spend $12 to $15 on the sparkling wine we add to our mimosas. Your best bet is to look for "Cava," which comes from Spain, or an American sparkling wine that's around $15. A dry Prosecco is a great option, too.

Tips:

  • Choose fresh oranges: The quality of your oranges will greatly impact the taste of your mimosas. Choose oranges that are heavy for their size and have a deep orange color. Avoid oranges that are bruised or have soft spots.
  • Use chilled ingredients: All of the ingredients for your mimosas should be chilled before you make them. This will help to create a refreshing and bubbly drink.
  • Use a good quality sparkling wine: The sparkling wine is the base of your mimosa, so it's important to use a good quality wine. Look for a sparkling wine that is dry and has a light body.
  • Add a splash of orange liqueur: Orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier, can add a delicious citrus flavor to your mimosas. Just be sure to use it sparingly, as it can easily overpower the other flavors.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit: A garnish of fresh fruit, such as orange slices or raspberries, can add a festive touch to your mimosas.

Conclusion:

Merry mimosas are a delicious and refreshing drink that are perfect for any occasion. Whether you're hosting a brunch, a baby shower, or a holiday party, mimosas are sure to be a hit. With a few simple tips, you can make the best mimosas that your guests will love.
