MERRY CRANBERRY BREAD

Really good

Provided by Joanne Sarver

Categories     Sweet Breads

Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 8

3/4 c miracle whip salad dressing
2 c flour
1 1/4 c cranberry orange sauce
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c chopped pecans
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 45-50 minutes, or until edges pull away from sides of pan. Makes 1 loaf.

Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start baking, gather all your ingredients and utensils. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you don't forget anything.
  • Use fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor than frozen cranberries, so they're the best choice for this bread.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will result in a tough, dense bread. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing it: This will help prevent the bread from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Merry Cranberry Bread is a delicious and festive bread that's perfect for the holiday season. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you're looking for a new holiday bread recipe, this is the one for you!
