6 slices bacon (cut in half (do not use thick-cut bacon))
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-4 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
1 Tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup. Separate the bacon slices and lay flat on the baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes.

10 slices bacon
1 pound fresh green beans
1 cube beef bouillon
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until partially cooked. Drain, cut each piece in half, and set aside.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Place the green beans on a rack or special steamer basket over the boiling water. Cover with a lid so that the steam does not escape. Steam for a few minutes until the green beans are done. Set the green beans aside. Reserve about 2 cups of the water and dissolve the bouillon cube in it.

2 (16 ounce) cans green beans
6 slices bacon, cut in half
3/8 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Roll six or seven green beans in bacon strips to make bundles.
  • Place in 9 x 13 pan.
  • Heat remaining ingredients in saucepan until butter is melted.
  • Pour over bundles.

I got the recipe from a friend of a friend-so not sure where it orginated. They are time consuming to make, and you have to plan ahead but I promise you they are well worth it!
