MEDITERRANEAN PORK CHOPS
Not sure where my mother got this recipe, but it is tasty. She called it her easy pork chop and rice dinner. The recipe card she handed down to me actually calls it mediterranean pork chops. I know its sort of a cheat recipe because of the canned manwich, but it still is good and so easy! I am sure you could add some veggies to the mix to make it healthier! Give it a try!

Tips:
- To ensure juicy and tender pork chops, choose chops that are at least 1 inch thick. Opt for bone-in chops for extra flavor.
- Marinating the pork chops not only infuses them with flavor but also helps tenderize them. For best results, marinate the chops for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- When cooking the pork chops, use a meat thermometer to ensure that they reach an internal temperature of 145°F for medium-rare, 155°F for medium, or 165°F for well done.
- To prevent the pork chops from drying out, cook them over medium heat. This will allow them to cook evenly without burning.
- If you're using a grill pan, preheat it over medium-high heat before adding the pork chops. Sear the chops for 2-3 minutes per side, then reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the chops reach your desired doneness.
- For a flavorful and crispy crust, pan-fry the pork chops in a mixture of olive oil and butter.
- To add a pop of sweetness and acidity, serve the pork chops with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar or a squeeze of lemon juice.
Conclusion:
Mediterranean pork chops are a versatile and delicious dish that can be prepared in a variety of ways. Whether you choose to grill, pan-fry, or bake them, these chops are sure to impress your taste buds. With their juicy, tender texture and flavorful marinade, Mediterranean pork chops are a perfect addition to any meal.
