MATCHA FRAPPE

Matcha Frappe image

Delicious green tea powder blended into a creamy drink that's better than Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino®. I use DoMatcha as it is the best quality around; it is expensive, however, and a little goes a long way.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality matcha powder: The quality of the matcha powder you use will greatly affect the taste of your frappuccino. Look for a powder that is a vibrant green color and has a smooth, fine texture.
  • Sweeten to taste: The amount of sweetness in your frappuccino is a matter of personal preference. Start with a small amount of sweetener and add more to taste.
  • Use cold ingredients: All of the ingredients in your frappuccino should be cold before you start blending. This will help to create a smooth, icy texture.
  • Blend until smooth: Blend your frappuccino until it is completely smooth. This will help to prevent any lumps of ice or matcha powder from forming.
  • Top with whipped cream and matcha powder: For a finishing touch, top your frappuccino with whipped cream and a sprinkle of matcha powder.
