Calling all leftover lovers! Say hello to the marvelous leftover hash, a delectable dish that transforms your leftover veggies, proteins, and herbs into a flavorful and satisfying meal. This versatile recipe offers three variations to cater to your taste preferences: the classic leftover hash, a vegetarian delight, and a hearty sweet potato hash.
The classic leftover hash is a meat lover's dream, featuring a medley of leftover roasted meats, potatoes, onions, and bell peppers. It's a perfect way to use up leftover steak, chicken, pork, or even sausage. For a meatless option, the vegetarian leftover hash swaps out the meat for a colorful array of roasted vegetables like zucchini, mushrooms, and carrots. Both hashes are seasoned with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices for a tantalizing flavor experience.
Last but not least, the sweet potato hash introduces a delightful twist with roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, and corn. This vibrant hash is a vegetarian's delight, packed with protein and fiber. It's a perfect way to start your day or enjoy as a hearty dinner.
No matter which variation you choose, the leftover hash is a delicious and budget-friendly way to reduce food waste and create a satisfying meal. Get ready to elevate your leftovers and embark on a culinary adventure with these marvelous leftover hash recipes!
EASY CORNBEEF HASH
This is a recipe I came up with after eating the canned cornbeef hash. You will need a food processor for this dish. It is also good with leftover pork roast and ham, not so good with beef. The method is to have a ratio of one portion of meat to two portions of potatoes. Another thing is to pulse the mixture or it will come out to pasty. My DH really loves to have this for breakfast.
