GOOF BALLS
This is a delicious candy for the holiday season, and is a real hit at school concession stands. I got the recipe from my sister-in-law's mother-in -law. It does take some time, but is well worth the effort. I double the recipe to use a whole can of sweetened condensed milk.

MARSHMALLOW POPCORN BALLS
These are very easy popcorn balls to make. The marshmallows make them similar to crispy rice cereal bars that are so popular. Made with marshmallows, these are sweet, crispy, and chewy. Everyone's favorite combination!

This is in response to a recipe request, this is not one of my recipes. The original ingredients and directions were not very clear and I did the best that I could with them. Fry time and quantities were also not specified, so I am guesstimating.

GOOF BALLS
As a dialysis nurse I enjoyed many treats brought to the center for the staff to share. This was one of them. Takes some time but well worth the effort. A helper and an assembly line will help. I make these every year for Christmas and they don't last long. You can't believe how good they are.

Steps:
- 1. In the top of a double boiler melt and keep warm the first three ingredients. Using a fork or pick, dip and swirl marshmallow to coat then roll in rice krispies. I crush the cereal. Put on wax paper to set. Makes 75-85 delicious treats.
Tips:
- Use fresh marshmallows for the best results. Stale marshmallows will not melt properly and will make the goof balls tough.
- Be careful not to overcook the marshmallow mixture. If it is overcooked, it will be difficult to form into balls.
- If the marshmallow mixture is too sticky to handle, you can grease your hands with butter or oil.
- If you want to make the goof balls even more festive, you can decorate them with sprinkles, chopped nuts, or candy.
Conclusion:
Goof balls are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to use up leftover marshmallows, and they are always a hit with kids and adults alike. If you are looking for a fun and festive treat to make, then I highly recommend trying these marshmallow goof balls.
