Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: Flank steak, skirt steak, or sirloin steak are all good choices for marinating and grilling.
  • Make a flavorful marinade: Use a combination of acidic ingredients (such as vinegar, lemon juice, or yogurt) and flavorful herbs and spices to create a marinade that will infuse the steak with flavor.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours: Marinating the steak for too long can make it tough.
  • Preheat your oven to the correct temperature: The temperature you cook the steak at will depend on the thickness of the steak and how you want it cooked.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steak to ensure it is cooked to your liking.
  • Let the steak rest before serving: Allowing the steak to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving will help the juices redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
