MARINATED CHICKEN KABOBS

Marinated Chicken Kabobs image

This great summer recipe was given to me by a friend years ago. You can put any vegetables you want on the skewers. Don't be worried when you see the light corn syrup in the ingredients, it comes together great! It's a great change. You can even skip the vegetables and just skewer the chicken. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Always marinate your chicken for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. Marinating the chicken for too long can make it tough.
  • Use a variety of spices and herbs in your marinade to create a flavorful kabob. Some popular choices include garlic, lemon, rosemary, thyme, and oregano.
  • If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using them. This will prevent them from burning on the grill.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat before grilling the kabobs. This will help to prevent the chicken from sticking to the grill grates.
  • Cook the kabobs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through. You can check the chicken by inserting a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the kabobs immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Marinated chicken kabobs are a delicious and easy-to-cook dish that is perfect for any occasion. By following these tips, you can make sure that your kabobs are flavorful and cooked to perfection.
