Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe butternut squash. Look for squash that is heavy for its size and has a smooth, unblemished skin.
  • If you don't have maple syrup, you can substitute honey or brown sugar. However, maple syrup will give the soup the best flavor.
  • To make the soup ahead of time, cook it according to the recipe and then let it cool completely. Store the soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • When you're ready to serve the soup, reheat it over medium heat until it is warmed through. You can also garnish the soup with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley, or a drizzle of olive oil.

Conclusion:

Maple squash soup is a delicious and easy-to-make soup that is perfect for a fall or winter meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover butternut squash. The soup is creamy, flavorful, and satisfying, and it is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
