Tips:
- Use parchment paper: Line your baking pan with parchment paper to prevent the bars from sticking. This will also make it easier to remove them from the pan once they are baked.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bars until they are set: The bars are done baking when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
- Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature: The bars will keep for up to 3 days.
