Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon. Look for wild-caught, sustainable salmon that is fresh and firm.
  • Use a good quality maple syrup. Grade A or B maple syrup will give your glaze the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the salmon. Salmon is a delicate fish, so it's important to cook it just until it is opaque in the center.
  • Let the salmon rest before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the fish, resulting in a more flavorful and moist dish.
  • Serve the salmon with your favorite sides. Roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rice are all great options.

Conclusion:

Maple bourbon glazed salmon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. The maple syrup and bourbon give the salmon a sweet and smoky flavor, while the glaze helps to keep the fish moist and juicy. Serve this dish with your favorite sides for a complete and satisfying meal.
