1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
1/4 red onion (thinly sliced)
1/4 cup fresh basil (thinly sliced)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (roughly chopped)
Zest of 1 lime
1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed (about 2 limes))
2 tsp white sugar
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil (or other neutral tasting oil)
Freshly ground pepper

1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Juice of 2 limes
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
4 mangoes, sliced
4 Roma tomatoes, halved and sliced
1 small jicama, peeled and cut into julienne
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
8 leaves fresh basil
2 avocados, sliced

Steps:

  • Whisk together the hot sauce, sugar, salt, cumin, lime juice and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk in the olive oil.
