PINEAPPLE, ORANGE, MANGO, BANANA SMOOTHIE

Pineapple, Orange, Mango, Banana Smoothie image

I make this delkcious smoothie every single morning, and not only is it an extremely healthy way to start the day but it's also very quick & simple to make! The added protein powder replaces any high-calorie protein that you might normally have on the morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and it will help keep you full longer than if it were just a pure fruit smoothie. I buy the frozen pineapple and mango chunks from Costco, and each week I buy a bunch of ripe bananas and peel them, cut them in half and throw them in a bag in the freezer. Then it takes me less than 5 mins to make it in the morning. And this has also replaced my morning coffee habit of 2 cups a day because I add 1/8 tsp of caffeine powder to it as well.

I invented this one day when I had leftover mango and pineapple juice. A spoonful of cream of coconut added the sweetness and special flavor with a tropical flare. You may use frozen pineapple juice ice cubes instead for more of a slush drink (about 8 pineapple ice cubes). Enjoy!

PINEAPPLE-MANGO GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE - (4.6/5)

Pineapple-Mango Green Smoothie Recipe - (4.6/5) image

Provided by DeBruynC1

Number Of Ingredients 6

1cup1 cup almond milk or milk of your choice
1/21/2 banana, frozen
1cup1 cup mango, chopped
1/2cup1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
2cups2 cups fresh spinach
1/2cup1/2 cup ice

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and serve. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose ripe fruits: Using ripe fruits will give your smoothie a naturally sweet and flavorful taste. Look for mangoes and pineapples that are slightly soft to the touch and have a fragrant aroma.
  • Freeze fruits beforehand: Freezing the fruits before making the smoothie will give it a thicker, creamier texture. You can freeze the fruits whole or cut them into chunks. If you use frozen fruits, you may need to add a little more liquid to the smoothie.
  • Add Greek yogurt or protein powder for a boost of protein: If you're looking for a more filling and protein-packed smoothie, add some Greek yogurt or protein powder. This will help keep you feeling full and satisfied throughout the day.
  • Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, if desired: If you find that your smoothie is not sweet enough, you can add a little honey or maple syrup to taste. However, this is optional, as the fruits should provide enough natural sweetness.
  • Adjust the liquid to achieve your desired consistency: The amount of liquid you add to your smoothie will determine its consistency. If you like a thinner smoothie, add more liquid. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add less liquid.

Conclusion:

This mango pineapple smoothie is a delicious and refreshing way to start your day or cool down on a hot summer afternoon. With its vibrant colors and tropical flavors, this smoothie is sure to please everyone. You can customize it to your liking by adding different fruits, yogurt, or protein powder. So get creative and enjoy!
