Time 20m

Yield 3 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 mangos, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 red jalapeno or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 scallion, finely chopped (both white and green parts)

  • If you don't have cilantro, you can substitute another herb, such as mint or basil.
  • If you don't have orange liqueur, you can use another citrus liqueur, such as lemon or grapefruit liqueur.
  • If you don't have tequila, you can use another white spirit, such as vodka or gin.
  • To make a virgin mango margarita, omit the tequila and orange liqueur.
  • For a sweeter margarita, add more agave nectar or simple syrup.
