Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 large ripe mango, peeled and pitted and cut into chunks
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/2 tsp fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 tsp agave nectar or honey (or to taste)
4 orange slices, for garnish
2 lime wedges
2 sprig(s) fresh mint, for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Place mango, orange juice and ice in a blender, and blend for several seconds or until smooth.
  • 2. Stir in lime juice and agave (or honey).

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes: The riper the mangoes, the sweeter and more flavorful your agua fresca will be.
  • Peel and dice the mangoes: Peel the mangoes and remove the pit. Then, dice the mangoes into small pieces.
  • Use filtered water: Filtered water will help to remove any impurities from the water and make your agua fresca taste better.
  • Add sweetener to taste: If you like your agua fresca sweeter, you can add sugar, honey, or agave nectar to taste.
  • Chill before serving: Agua fresca is best served chilled. You can chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, or you can make it ahead of time and chill it overnight.
