**Mama Rose's Coleslaw: A Classic Southern Dish with a Twist**

Mama Rose's coleslaw is a classic Southern dish with a unique twist. This coleslaw is made with a combination of finely shredded cabbage, carrots, and red onion, tossed in a creamy mayonnaise-based dressing. The dressing is what sets this coleslaw apart from others, as it includes a secret ingredient: pineapple juice. The pineapple juice adds a subtle sweetness and tanginess to the coleslaw, balancing out the sharpness of the vinegar and the richness of the mayonnaise. This coleslaw is a perfect side dish for any summer gathering, barbecue, or potluck. It is also a great way to use up leftover cabbage and carrots. The article provides two variations of Mama Rose's coleslaw: the classic version and a lightened-up version with Greek yogurt. Both versions are delicious and easy to make, so you can choose the one that best suits your taste and dietary preferences.
