MACARONI AND CHEESE PIZZA

Macaroni and Cheese Pizza image

This recipe is a long time family recipe......or so I thought... This is in a family cookbook that I got back in 1988 and we have been using this recipe even before the cookbook came out... It's easy, it's fun, and I have yet to see a kid, (or adult for that matter!), that hasn't like this recipe... We switch up on toppings, but pepperoni always seems to be the favorite. Also, adjust the amount of sauce and cheese to your liking. My father still makes this for himself by just cutting all the ingredient amounts in half and cooking in a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. I hope you enjoy it as much as our family has throughout the years!

Tips:

  • Use a high-quality macaroni and cheese. This will make a big difference in the overall flavor of the pizza.
  • Don't overcook the macaroni. It should be al dente, or slightly firm to the bite.
  • Use a variety of cheeses in your macaroni and cheese. This will create a more complex and flavorful dish.
  • Use a thick layer of cheese on the pizza. This will help to hold the macaroni and cheese in place and prevent it from drying out.
  • Bake the pizza at a high temperature. This will help to create a crispy crust.
  • Serve the pizza immediately. This is when it will be at its best.

Conclusion:

Macaroni and cheese pizza is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover macaroni and cheese, and it is also a fun and creative way to serve this classic dish.
