Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh limes. If you don't have fresh limes, you can substitute bottled lime juice, but the flavor will not be as bright.
  • Be sure to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a lighter, more tender cake.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense cake.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking can result in a dry, crumbly cake.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • If you don't have time to make the frosting from scratch, you can use a store-bought frosting. Just be sure to choose a frosting that is not too sweet.

Conclusion:

Luscious Lime Angel Squares are a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these squares a try!
