- 10. when cobbler is golden, smear butter/sugar mixture over the top of cobbler and return to hot oven for another 10 minutes.
Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen blackberries: Fresh blackberries are best, but frozen blackberries can also be used. If using frozen blackberries, thaw them before using.
- Make sure the blackberries are ripe: Ripe blackberries are sweeter and have a more intense flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the cobbler tough.
- Bake the cobbler until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling: This will ensure that the cobbler is cooked through.
- Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream: This will make the cobbler even more delicious.
