Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: Overripe bananas are naturally sweeter, which means you can use less sugar in your granola bars. They also add a moist and chewy texture.
  • Choose your oats wisely: Old-fashioned oats are the best choice for granola bars because they hold their shape well. Quick-cooking oats will make your bars too soft, and steel-cut oats will be too hard.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make your granola bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Press the dough firmly into the pan: This will help your granola bars hold together better.
  • Let the granola bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help them set and firm up.
  • Store the granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature: They will keep for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

These low-sodium chewy granola bars are a delicious and healthy snack that is perfect for on-the-go.
