Tips for Making the Best Low-Fat Maurice Salad Dressing:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the dressing will taste. If possible, use organic or locally-sourced produce.
  • Don't over-blend the dressing: Over-blending can make the dressing too thick and creamy. Blend just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Adjust the flavor to your liking: The recipe can be adjusted to your liking. For a sweeter dressing, add more honey or maple syrup. For a tangier dressing, add more lemon juice or vinegar. For a spicier dressing, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Let the dressing chill: Allowing the dressing to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving allows the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Store the dressing properly: Store the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
