Tips

  • Use fresh limes for the best flavor. Limes that are too old will have a bitter taste.
  • If you don't have self-rising flour, you can make your own by adding 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
  • To make sure the cake is cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting set properly.
  • You can use any type of frosting you like on this cake. A cream cheese frosting or a whipped cream frosting would both be delicious.

Conclusion

This low-fat lime cake is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The cake is also a good source of vitamin C, which is important for a healthy immune system. So next time you are looking for a healthy and delicious dessert, give this low-fat lime cake a try.
