HEALTHY LOW-FAT BANANA ZUCCHINI BREAD
This bread is a combination of zucchini and banana bread, and it is a wonderful way to use up old bananas and dip into that summer harvest of zucchini. The bread tastes more like banana bread than zucchini bread, but it has the added nutritional benefits of vegetables. This bread is lower in fat that the standard banana/zucchini bread because applesauce replaces some of the oil in the recipe. Still using some oil, however, will prevent the bread from getting rubbery. Experiment by using pumpkin instead of bananas during the autumn months or by adding walnuts and dates! This recipe makes 2 loaves. Enjoy!

When I substituted some of the butter with applesauce in a previous recipe, it actually made the bread more moist. I put one loaf in the freezer, but had to take it out within 24 hours because the first was devoured!

LOW FAT STEVIA BANANA BREAD
I love banana bread and this is an easy, healthy version that my family really enjoys. One tip - if you're bananas aren't ripe enough for banana bread just pop them in the oven (in the peel) until they darken up. It brings out the sugars and gives them that sweet flavor needed for great banana bread.

LOW-FAT, HIGH-FIBER YUMMY BANANA BREAD
I make this each and every time we have bananas that are over-ripe. I toast slices to have along with my coffee for breakfast. I also use toasted slices to make peanut butter sandwiches for the kids' lunches. Who says if it's good for you it can't taste good too? The original recipe, which I have adapted quite a bit, came from Nick Malgieri's book "How to Bake."

SUGAR FREE, GLUTEN FREE, LOW FAT PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BREAD
This banana bread is so good, I can't keep it around my house for very long - and I have to make a double recipe every time! And since it has no sugar, flour and very little fat - I have no problems with my kids gobbling it up! I always make a double recipe and freeze one loaf - always refrigerate the other loaf otherwise will go bad very quickly!

WEIGHT WATCHER FRIENDLY BANANA BREAD (LOW FAT)
I grew up eating a very yummy, but very fattening version of banana bread. Since starting Weight Watchers, I wanted to recreate the same type of bread without all the fat as well as incorporating whole grains. I actually prefer to make these as muffins so I have the perfect portion size every time. Each muffin or serving is 2 WW points.

LOW FAT BANANA NUT BREAD RECIPE - (4.3/5)
Provided by á-45241

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients; bake in a large sprayed loaf pan at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes. Do not over-bake, test for doneness with a toothpick. I'm going to add 1 cup drained crushed pineapple and see if it works.
Tips:
- Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your banana bread will be. You can tell if a banana is ripe by its color—it should be yellow with a few brown spots.
- Mash the bananas well. This will help to ensure that the banana bread is smooth and moist. You can use a fork or a potato masher to mash the bananas.
- Use a combination of flours. This will help to create a light and fluffy banana bread. All-purpose flour is a good choice for the majority of the flour, but you can also add a small amount of whole wheat flour or oat flour for added flavor and nutrition.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will result in a tough and dry banana bread. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the banana bread at a moderate temperature. This will help to prevent the banana bread from becoming too dry. The ideal baking temperature for banana bread is 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Let the banana bread cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help to prevent the banana bread from falling apart.
Conclusion:
Low-fat banana bread is a delicious and healthy treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a good source of fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. This banana bread is also low in fat and calories, making it a guilt-free snack or dessert. If you are looking for a healthy and satisfying snack or dessert, this low-fat banana bread is a perfect choice.
