Tips for Making the Best Longhorn Berry Sangria:

  • Use fresh berries: Fresh berries will give your sangria the best flavor. If you can't find fresh berries, you can use frozen berries, but thaw them before using.
  • Choose a good wine: The type of wine you use will greatly affect the flavor of your sangria. Choose a wine that you enjoy drinking on its own. A fruity red wine, such as a Merlot or a Pinot Noir, is a good choice.
  • Add some citrus: Citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and limes, add a refreshing flavor to sangria. Add them in slices or wedges.
  • Sweeten to taste: Sangria is traditionally made with a sweetener, such as sugar or honey. Add sweetener to taste, depending on how sweet you like your sangria.
