LITTLEMAFIA'S RICE & TUNA

Littlemafia's Rice & Tuna image

I'm almost embarassed to post this, but since it's my one of my DD's favorite dishes I thought I should post it maybe someone else will like it too. And maybe it's gonna help another mom with a picky eater. Change the quantities, I only guessed. I'm glad if my DD eats the tuna, so sometimes is less rice, sometimes more. She can't eat this much at once, maybe twice.

Tips:

  • Choose a good quality red wine for your mulled wine. A full-bodied red wine with a fruity flavor, such as a Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot, will work well.
  • Use fresh spices for the best flavor. Whole spices, such as cloves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise, will give your mulled wine a more intense flavor than ground spices.
  • Don't boil the wine. Boiling the wine will drive off the alcohol and ruin the flavor. Instead, heat the wine gently over low heat until it is just simmering.
  • Let the mulled wine steep for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors of the spices to meld together and create a more complex flavor.
  • Serve the mulled wine hot, garnished with a cinnamon stick or orange slice.

Conclusion:

Mulled wine is a delicious and festive drink that is perfect for enjoying on a cold winter day. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. With so many different recipes to choose from, you are sure to find one that you love.
