4-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 cup fresh lime juice
Zest of 2 limes
3 tablespoons ginger liqueur, such as Domaine de Canton
1/2 cup cold vodka
Crushed ice
1 cup sugar

2-1/2 cups sugar
1 package (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
1 package (3 ounces) pineapple gelatin
4 cups boiling water
1 can (12 ounces) frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
1 cup lemon juice
1 envelope (0.23 ounce) unsweetened lemonade Kool-Aid mix
10 cups cold water
2 liters ginger ale, chilled
Lime slices, optional
