1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 Eggs
1 Tbs. + 1/3 Cup Frozen Lemonade Concentrate, thawed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan. In a large bowl, beat all ingredients except the 1/3 cup lemonade concentrate with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Loosen bread from edges of pan. Pour 1/3 cup concentrate over bread. Cool in pan on cooling rack 15 minutes; remove from pan.

1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup 2% milk
GLAZE:
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, lemon zest and juice. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; gradually stir into creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. , Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan.
