GOLDEN TILAPIA

This tasty recipe for tilapia is quite easy to make. I got it off of FoodNetwork.com. and just slightly modified it. The recipe calls for the fish to marinade for 20 minutes, but I bet it would be even better if marinated for longer. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Before cooking, pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. This helps to remove excess moisture and ensure that the skin crisps up nicely.
  • If you don't have any lemon pepper seasoning, you can make your own by combining 1 tablespoon of lemon zest, 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • To make sure that the tilapia fillets are cooked through, insert a fork into the thickest part of the fish. If the flesh is opaque and flakes easily, the fish is cooked.
  • Serve the tilapia fillets with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Conclusion:

Leslie's Golden Tilapia recipe is a simple and delicious way to prepare this versatile fish. The lemon pepper seasoning gives the tilapia a bright and zesty flavor, while the golden brown crust adds a touch of crispiness. This recipe is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal, and it's also a great way to introduce tilapia to those who may be new to this fish.
